Even the smoothest of weddings will have tension leading up to the events… it’s only natural, whether it be nervous energy or the expected “unexpected” that happens. Oh wait, unless of course you’re Fern and Irene, then none of the previous sentence applies. The only difficult part of the day was trying to keep Irene from sticking her tongue out in e.v.e.r.y. single shot! :)
Fern and Irene chose the beautiful Viceroy Hotel as their location to get ready and have their first look. (nice job Fern!) Talk about a great backdrop! It was so sweet to watch the two of them get ready together although we kicked Fern out just in time for Irene to get dressed. Irene even did her own makeup!
They opted for a “first look” to allow plenty of time for portraits prior to the ceremony. After taking portraits we mozied over to Perricone’s for the sweetest ceremony and dinner reception. Thank you Fern for letting me taste your ravioli! The food was so amazing, I had a hard time deciding between the chicken parmesan or the gorgonzola pear ravioli. Yum!
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. It’s such a blessing to walk away from our jobs knowing that the relationships we’ve made with our clients will last beyond the wedding day. Irene and Fern, thank you for making us feel like part of the family at your wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and your day was as perfect as the two of you together!

The envelope is somewhat of an inside joke but I couldn’t resist putting it on the blog. :)
