heather + alex {engaged}

I’m not gonna lie… I was a bit intimidated about shooting this couple. Alex Leopold is one of my absolute favorite artists! I stalked him for months before finally building up the courage to ask him if he accepted commissions. Long story short, he ended up creating an amazing piece for Phillip and I that was far better than I could have imagined!
I think it goes without saying that I was thrilled to receive the call about shooting their wedding in north Georgia in October! What an honor!
After months of anticipation, I flew to Atlanta last Saturday to shoot their engagement session. Heather came up with some great ideas, one being to shoot at their house which was so sweet to watch them in their element. She specifically wanted to incorporate a painting in their bedroom that Alex did for her when they first started dating… sigh… We also scored a “family” portrait with their 2 cats!
Alex and Heather, we’re extremely grateful for the opportunity to take part in your wedding and we can’t wait for your crazy fauxto-booth!
